It is Stampede time again in Calgary where every closet cowboy and cowgirl comes out of the woodwork for 10 days. Nothing but country music, country dance and tight jeans and little else,  to be seen and heard in the city. It's that beautiful smell of "country" that lingers heavily in the air almost visible, that will smack you in the face, drop you to your knees and bring tears to the eyes. (good thing I lost my sense of smell years ago!)

To celebrate, "Sam's World" will be highlighting songs from the "country scene". Classics of "You-done-me-wrong" and "I-love-my-truck-and-dog" will be visualized over the next 10 days!! So yee-haw! and enjoy!!
